My client is an accountancy practice based in Dublin and they are looking for a qualified accountant who has accounts & tax experience to join the team. This is a very interesting opportunity for a candidate who is looking to take their career to the next stage and work in a collaborative and rewarding environment. Your responsibilities will include: - Preparation of year-end accounts and financial statements for high net worth individuals, companies and sole traders.
- Tax compliance, including the preparation and submission of VAT, PAYE, Corporation Tax, and Income Tax returns.
- Assisting with tax planning and advisory projects for clients.
- Reviewing and improving internal accounting processes.
- Liaising with clients, revenue authorities, and other stakeholders.
- Other adhoc assignments.
Requirements: - Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- CTA Qualified - desirable (or interest in pursuing).
- At least 3 years’ experience in practice role in Ireland.
- Strong understanding of Irish tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent communication skills - it is imperative that you are fluent in English.
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines effectively.
